Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders’ shares gained 2% in early Tuesday trade after the company posted strong Q2FY26 earnings.
The state-run shipbuilder reported a 28.1% year-on-year rise in net profit to ₹749 crore, compared to ₹585 crore in the same quarter last year.
Revenue grew 6.3% to ₹2,929 crore from ₹2,756 crore, while EBITDA jumped 36.1% to ₹695 crore versus ₹510.2 crore. Operating margins improved to 23.7% from 18.5% YoY.
The company also declared an interim dividend of ₹6 per share, reflecting its robust financial performance.
Mazagon Dock shares were up 1.80% at ₹2,860.90 apiece around 9.17 am. It has jumped 27.50% this year, so far.
