Macpower CNC Machines Limited, in compliance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements), has announced plans to increase its manufacturing capacity by 25%, with the addition of 500 machines per annum. This will take the company’s total production capacity from 2,000 to 2,500 machines per annum, and the expanded capacity is expected to be operational by April 2025.
The expansion involves setting up a new assembly unit with a 40,000 sq. ft. facility. The total investment required for this project is approximately ₹15 crore, which will be funded internally through the company’s own resources.
Current Capacity:
- Existing Capacity: 2,000 machines per annum
- Current Utilization: Around 88%
Proposed Expansion:
- New Capacity: 2,500 machines per annum (a 25% increase)
- Completion Timeline: By the end of FY25, available from April 2025 onwards
- Investment: ₹15 crore for capacity expansion and backward integration
This strategic move aligns with the company’s growth objectives, as it seeks to strengthen its manufacturing capabilities, expand its distribution network, and enhance its sales and marketing teams to meet increasing market demand.
