LIC increases stake in IRCTC to 9.29% from 7.2%

LIC’s shareholding has risen from 5,82,22,948 shares to 7,43,79,924 shares, representing an increase from 7.278% to 9.298% of the paid-up capital of IRCTC.

This strategic move enhances LIC’s investment portfolio and reinforces its position in IRCTC, a prominent player in the railway catering and tourism sector. The increased shareholding was disclosed in a regulatory filing in accordance with Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
