Shares of Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemicals Limited surged more than 4% in early trade on Tuesday after the company reported a strong set of earnings for the fourth quarter of FY26. The rally came as investors reacted positively to sharp growth in profitability and a significant improvement in operating margins.

Gujarat Narmada Q4 FY26 Results

On a consolidated year-on-year basis, Gujarat Narmada reported revenue of Rs 2,208 crore for the March quarter, up 7.4% from Rs 2,055 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

The company posted a sharp rise in operating performance, with EBITDA jumping to Rs 482 crore from Rs 240 crore in the year-ago period. EBITDA margin improved significantly to 21.8% from 11.7%, indicating better operational efficiency and improved profitability.

Net profit for the quarter surged 87.7% to Rs 396 crore, compared to Rs 211 crore reported in the same quarter last year.
