- Bharat Coking Coal Ltd. gained 3.40% on BSE to ₹35.01.
- Oil India advanced 2.33% on BSE to ₹519.35.
- ONGC rose 2.10% on BSE to ₹303.40.
- Mahanagar Gas gained 1.76% on BSE to ₹1,061.80.
Major Losers in Energy Sector
- Gujarat State Petronet witnessed the sharpest decline, falling 6.84% on BSE to ₹268.95 and 7.13% on NSE.
- HPCL dropped 4.02% on BSE to ₹374.40 and 4.43% on NSE.
- Deep Industries declined 2.38–2.88%.
- K.P. Energy was down 2.43%.
Other stocks trading lower included Gujarat Gas, Inox Green Energy, MRPL, GAIL, IOC, Hind Oil Exploration, and Suzlon Energy.
