Top Gainers in IT Sector
- Sasken Technologies was the top performer, rising 6.36% on BSE to ₹1,835.85 and 4.65% on NSE.
- Firstsource Solutions gained 2.88% on BSE to ₹250 and 2.99% on NSE.
- Black Box advanced 2.57% on BSE to ₹846.90 and 2.90% on NSE.
- RPSG Ventures rose 0.79%.
Other stocks with modest gains included D-Link India, Mindtree, and Brightcom Group.
Major Losers in IT Sector
- R Systems International witnessed the sharpest decline, falling 6.55% on BSE to ₹272.
- Persistent Systems dropped 4.11% on BSE to ₹4,641.60 and 4.14% on NSE.
- Intellect Design declined 4.06% on BSE to ₹690.55.
- LTIMindtree was down 3.48% on BSE to ₹3,952.50.
Other notable losers included Newgen Software (-3.71%), Coforge, Eclerx Services, HCL Technologies, Infosys, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Birlasoft, Mphasis, and Zensar Technologies, which saw losses ranging from 1.6% to 2.7%.
Most other IT stocks including Wipro, Oracle Financial, and L&T Technology Services also traded in the red with mild to moderate declines.
