Shares of Dilip Buildcon surged more than 5% after the company was declared the lowest (L1) bidder for a major infrastructure project in Gujarat. The announcement was made in compliance with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
The project has been awarded by the Narmada Water Resources Water Supply & Kalpasar Department, Government of Gujarat. It involves the construction of a flood protection embankment along the river Narmada in Bharuch district.
Titled “Construction of the Flood Protection Embankment on river Narmada, District Bharuch (Engineering, Procurement and Construction Basis – EPC),” the contract carries a total value of ₹668.02 crore, excluding GST.
The order will be executed under the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) model. Under this structure, Dilip Buildcon will be responsible for designing, procuring materials, and executing the entire project. The completion timeline has been set at 24 months from the date of commencement.
