Defence sector stocks traded lower on February 13, with several counters witnessing declines in early trade. As of 10:00 AM IST, broader markets were also under pressure, with the NIFTY 50 down 1.06% at 25,534.45 and the S&P BSE SENSEX slipping 1.02% to 82,817.42.

The weakness in benchmark indices was reflected across multiple defence and aerospace stocks.

Apollo Micro Systems, Astra Micro, Avantel Trade Lower

Apollo Micro Systems fell 2.47% on BSE to Rs 235.00 and 2.33% on NSE to Rs 235.20.

Astra Microwave Products declined 1.75% on BSE to Rs 890.50 and 2.34% on NSE to Rs 886.30.

Avantel slipped 1.72% on BSE to Rs 148.60 and 1.77% on NSE to Rs 148.63.

Bharat Dynamics, BEL and Bharat Forge Mixed

Bharat Dynamics dropped 1.88% on BSE to Rs 1,248.00 and 2.04% on NSE to Rs 1,245.60.

Bharat Electronics was down 0.47% on BSE to Rs 441.75 and 0.42% on NSE to Rs 442.05.

Bharat Forge traded marginally mixed, falling 0.23% on BSE to Rs 1,728.55, while rising 0.29% on NSE to Rs 1,731.70.

Shipbuilding Stocks Under Pressure

Cochin Shipyard declined 1.79% on BSE to Rs 1,475.95 and 1.63% on NSE to Rs 1,476.00.

Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers** fell 1.97% on BSE to Rs 2,448.00 and 2.14% on NSE to Rs 2,442.90.

Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders was down 1.81% on BSE to Rs 2,371.80 and 1.93% on NSE to Rs 2,368.20.

Electronics and Defence Tech Stocks Decline

Data Patterns slipped 1.70% on both exchanges to Rs 2,736.10.

DCX Systems dropped 3.42% on BSE to Rs 160.85 and 3.69% on NSE to Rs 160.43.

ideaForge Technology declined 2.09% on BSE to Rs 412.50 and 2.23% on NSE to Rs 412.20.

Kaynes Technology fell 3.29% on BSE to Rs 3,951.00 and 3.44% on NSE to Rs 3,946.10.

Other Notable Movers

Nibe Limited saw a sharp decline of 8.91% on BSE to Rs 952.20.

Unimech Aerospace and Manufacturing dropped 7.78% on BSE to Rs 943.45 and 7.86% on NSE to Rs 942.95.

Paras Defence and Space Technologies fell 1.24% on BSE to Rs 643.50 and 1.37% on NSE to Rs 642.80.

Solar Industries India declined 1.62% on BSE to Rs 13,173.45 and 1.73% on NSE to Rs 13,159.00.

Meanwhile, Hindustan Aeronautics traded marginally higher, gaining 0.35% on BSE to Rs 4,173.00 and 0.31% on NSE to Rs 4,171.60.

Overall, most defence and aerospace counters were trading in the red in line with broader market weakness as of 10:00 AM IST on February 13.
