Cyient Ltd shares declined over 6% in early morning trade after the company announced its Q2 FY26 earnings, which showed a dip in profitability despite steady revenue growth. As of 9:19 AM, the shares were trading 0.87% lower at Rs 1,170.30.

In the July–September quarter, Cyient reported consolidated revenue of ₹1,781 crore, marking a 4% rise from ₹1,711.8 crore in the previous quarter. However, net profit dropped 17% to ₹127.5 crore from ₹153.8 crore QoQ, reflecting margin pressures and higher costs.

EBIT for the quarter stood at ₹146.6 crore, down 10% from ₹162.7 crore in Q1 FY26. The EBIT margin also narrowed to 8.2% from 9.5% in the previous quarter.
