Shares of Creative Newtech Limited (NSE: CNL, BSE: 544631) climbed more than 2% after the company announced a strategic business agreement with Passenger Drone Research Limited (PDRL). The collaboration is aimed at strengthening pan-India distribution and accelerating market expansion of PDRL’s indigenous drone components and software platforms.

The partnership positions Creative Newtech as a Business Growth Partner, leveraging its nationwide distribution network and established enterprise relationships to expand the reach of PDRL’s solutions across multiple high-growth sectors.

Under the agreement, Creative Newtech will support structured market expansion of PDRL’s drone technologies in agriculture, enterprise operations, logistics, surveillance, and defense. As India witnesses rising demand for compliant and regulation-ready drone platforms, the collaboration aligns with the country’s broader indigenization and self-reliance goals.

The move is expected to strengthen adoption in agriculture — currently one of the largest use cases for drones in India — while also tapping emerging opportunities in mission-critical enterprise applications.
