Shares of Coffee Day Enterprises Ltd, the parent company of Café Coffee Day, jumped over 7% in early afternoon trade on Wednesday after the Karnataka High Court granted interim relief to the company in a case related to the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA).
As of 12:40 PM IST, Coffee Day Enterprises shares were trading near the day’s high of ₹35.20 after opening at ₹32.55. The stock touched an intraday low of ₹31.25, compared with the previous close of ₹32.54. Trading activity remained active, with volumes at around 12.23 lakh shares at the time of reporting.
From a broader perspective, Coffee Day Enterprises shares continue to trade well below their 52-week high of ₹51.46, though they are significantly above the 52-week low of ₹21.28.
