Shares of Butterfly Gandhimathi Appliances surged more than 14% in trade on Tuesday after the company reported strong growth in revenue and profitability for the March quarter and full financial year FY26.

The stock jumped as much as 17.6% during the session to hit an intraday high of ₹729.90 on the NSE before trading around ₹710 later in the day.

For the quarter ended March 2026, the company reported revenue of ₹218 crore, registering a 16.6% year-on-year increase from ₹187 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

EBITDA rose 19.7% year-on-year to ₹20 crore compared to ₹16 crore a year ago, while EBITDA margin improved marginally to 8.9% from 8.7%.

Profit after tax for the quarter increased 26.7% to ₹11 crore from ₹9 crore in Q4 FY25.

Butterfly said the quarterly growth was driven by double-digit expansion across categories, led by strong demand for cookers and gas stoves. The company also highlighted increasing consumer adoption of electric cooking appliances amid LPG supply constraints.

During the quarter, the company introduced several new products, including the relaunch of its breakfast appliance portfolio.

For the full financial year FY26, Butterfly reported revenue of ₹943 crore, up 9% year-on-year from ₹865 crore in FY25.

Annual EBITDA grew 22% to ₹80 crore from ₹66 crore in the previous year, while profit after tax excluding exceptional items climbed 45.2% to ₹47 crore compared to ₹33 crore a year earlier.

The company also reported strong cash flow generation of ₹88 crore during FY26.

Commenting on the performance, Chief Business Officer Swetha Sagar said the company remained focused on building a stronger foundation for sustainable growth and profitability through organisational restructuring, capability enhancement, innovation, brand refresh and cost optimisation initiatives.

Management also noted that the company’s new brand architecture received encouraging consumer response, while its “Idea First Series” emerged as a key growth driver during the year.

Butterfly Gandhimathi Appliances is engaged in kitchen and home appliance manufacturing and operates across categories including cookers, mixer grinders, gas stoves and electric appliances.
