Rupee eases marginally by 1 paisa against USD

The rupee on Monday fell by one paisa to 83.26 on rising demand for the US dollar.

Mumbai, Oct 30 : The rupee on Monday fell by one paisa to 83.26 on rising demand for the US dollar by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Foreign Exchange said.

The local unit was seen as weak owing to the positive dollar against other world currencies amid a positive stock market in the opening session, the dealer said.

The rupee recorded intraday highs and lows at 83.25 and 83.28 respectively, the dealer added.
