Mumbai, Dec 19 : The Rupee on Tuesday slipped further by 12 paise to close at 83.18 on rising demand for US Dollar by bankers and importers, dealers at the Foreign Exchange said.
The domestic unit that tumbled down by 13 paise at 83.19 in opening session, finished at 83.18, down 12 paise as compared to its previous close.
The Rupee recorded intra days high and low at 83.13 and 83.22 respectively, dealer added.
