In a forward-looking interim Budget 2024, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman underscores the potential of spiritual tourism, particularly in burgeoning destinations like Ayodhya following the inauguration of the Ram Temple.

Highlighting the entrepreneurial prospects within the spiritual tourism sector, Sitharaman expressed optimism about its significant growth. She announced, “States will be encouraged to undertake comprehensive development of iconic tourist centers, branding, and marketing them at a global scale.”
