ICICI Bank on Wednesday announced partnership with Shivaami Cloud Services to launch Cloud based products bundled with transaction banking API solutions in India. It is the first time for the banking industry to witness such a collaboration.
Mumbai based Shivaami was founded in 2004 by Mr. Punit Thakkar. The aim of the collaboration is to broaden access to cloud technologies of small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in India. The solution provides a suite of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) applications including Google Suite for communication and efficient collaboration among teams, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for hosting and storage.

It will be powered by API Banking services from ICICI Bank, that can easily integrate the business’ ERPs in a secured and automated way with end to end reconciliations. It is expected to aid start-ups to streamline their accounting transactions efficiently and provide a single portal for managing their daily operations.

ICICI Bank’s API Banking portal currently consists of 250 banking APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) which enables developers of prospective companies, e-commerce start-ups to seamlessly sign up partner with the Bank to co-create innovative customer solutions in a smooth manner.
The partnership is in line with the Digital India campaign launched by the Government. The collaborated cloud service is expected to bundled with other platforms like Freshdesk, Freshmarketer and Freshsales.
