PM Modi has visited 58 countries, spending Rs 517.82 crores in total : Ministry of External Affairs

According to the Ministry of External Affairs, Prime Minister Narendra Damodardas Modi has visited 58 countries since 2015. Even though he has spent Rs 517.82 crore in total during his journey.

According to the Ministry of External Affairs, Prime Minister Narendra Damodardas Modi has visited 58 countries since 2015. Even though he has spent Rs 517.82 crore in total during his journey, his visits abroad have “enhanced understanding of India’s perspectives on bilateral, regional and global issues by other countries and have strengthened our relations with them across a wide range of sectors including trade and investment, technology, maritime, space, defence collaboration and people to contact” said V Muraleedharan, Minister of State (MoS).

He added that this has contributed to the development of the nation and to promote economic growth and well being of our people. It is contributing to the shaping and moulding of the global agenda at the multilateral level which includes climate change, trans-national crime and terrorism and nuclear non-proliferation and offering to the world its own unique initiatives for global issues like Internation Solar Alliance and the Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure.
