India’s wholesale inflation falls below the double-digit mark in October 2022 to 8.39%

Wholesale Price Index (WPI) data for India as of October 2022: According to information issued by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, the nation’s wholesale inflation decreased to 8.39% in October from 10.70% in September.

Since March 2021, when it was 7.89%, wholesale inflation has decreased below the double-digit threshold for the first time.

According to the statistics, the wholesale price index (WPI) for the month of August was changed from 12.41 to 12.48 percent. In October 2021, the WPI was 13.83 percent.
