On January 3, the cryptocurrency market was trading in the black, with most cryptocurrencies posting gains. Gains were seen in the trading of Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Binance (BNB), and Solana (SOL).
According to data from Coinmarketcap.com at 8 AM, the total market capitalization of cryptocurrencies increased by 1.09 percent to $805.27 billion while its trading volume decreased by 37.01 percent to $23.77 billion.
On the list, Polygon Matic (MATIC) was trending first. PancakeSwap (CAKE), SOL, and BTC were the next three cryptocurrencies on the list of the most popular cryptocurrencies.
Lido Dao (LDO) and SOL were the biggest gainers, while XDC Network and Fei USD were the top losers (XDC).

Bitcoin: At $16,679.77, BTC was up 0.48 percent. Trading volume for BTC increased by 31.85% to $12,235,550,927. This morning, BTC was trading higher.
Over the past 24 hours, BTC has fluctuated within a range of $16,596.57 and $16,759.34. In the previous day, BTC was trading in the positive territory.
BTC was moving fourth, and its current dominance is 39.88%, down 0.23 percent from the previous day.
Binance: This morning, Binance (BNB) was trading higher. It was trading in the band of $243.25 and $247.72, up 1.12%, at $245.41.
The trading volume for BNB increased by 8.31% to $331,457,673.
Ethereum: As of Tuesday morning, Ethereum (ETH) was up 1.38 percent, trading at $1,213.95 on the previous day.
In the past 24 years, Ethereum has been observed in the green zone. Between lows of $1,200.37 and highs of $1,219.86, it was trading. After trading in a shaky market, Ethereum was finally stable. Its trading volume level had increased by 54.88%.

Today, SOL’s price increased by 12.23% to $11.14, and its 24-hour trading volume increased by 208.20 to $629,260,766.
The price of Ripple (XRP) increased by 4.94% to $0.3432, but its 24-hour trading volume fell by 61.99% to $1,045,226,208.
To $0.2527, Cardano (ADA) was up 1.63 percent. The 24-hour trading volume for Cardano decreased by 32.60% to $152,687,074.

At $0.07147, Dogecoin (DOGE) was up 2.77 percent. Its $389,347,724 24-hour trading volume increased by 98.28%.
Shiba Inu (SHIB) was trading higher at $0.000008182, up 1.09 percent.
Decentralised Finance (DeFi)
Yearn Finance (YFI) increased by 5.29% to $5,358.97. At $17,497,545, its 24-hour trading volume increased by 73.11 percent.
Avalanche (AVAX) was up 3.08 percent at $11.11 and saw a 39.24 percent increase in 24-hour trading volume at $134,137,488.
At $52.95, Aave (AAVE) was up 2.20 percent. To $40,400,503, its 24-hour trading volume increased by 41.60%.
