Cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase Global Inc. announced on Monday that several users were experiencing difficulties logging in or executing buy and sell orders on its web and mobile applications.

In an update shared on its official status page, Coinbase confirmed that it is actively investigating the issue and working on a fix. The company reassured customers that despite the temporary disruption, all user funds remain safe.

According to Downdetector, user reports of outages were concentrated in major U.S. cities including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Phoenix, Seattle, Minneapolis, and New York City.

Coinbase has faced similar technical issues in the past during periods of heightened market activity, though it has typically restored full functionality within a few hours. The exchange has not yet provided an estimated timeline for the resolution of the current disruption.
