Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Europe, the tournament was played in the year 2021 while retaining the name UEFA Euro 2020, it was played across 11 venues which had some of the iconic stadiums featuring across Europe. 2. Mikkel Damsgaard, Denmark vs England

The French were eliminated by the Swiss on penalties, but the goal from Paul Pogba would be replayed by many for the years to come. The Frenchmen curled the ball into the top right corner from the outside of the box without any mistake leaving the goalkeeper absolutely clueless.
5. Cristiano Ronaldo, Portugal vs Germany
No list is complete without Cristiano Ronaldo in it. Ronaldo who earned the top spot for a goal scored in the tournament and showed that “age is just a number” when the Portuguese striker, having cleared a Germany corner in his area took off like a bullet to cover almost a 100 yard to tap in a goal for Portugal.
6. Luka Modric, Croatia vs Scotland
The former Ballon d’Or winner and Real Madrid midfielder scored an outrageous goal from outside of his right foot smashing the curling shot in the net and left the keeper no opportunity to defend it.
7. Thorgan Hazard, Belgium vs Portugal
Belgium, knocking the defending champion Portugal out of the tournament in the round of 16, Thorgan rising from his brother Eden Hazard of Real Madrid, shadow smashed a thunderous shot from outside the penalty box to knock out Portugal, would definitely be counted among the top best goals of the championship.
8. Stefan Lainer, Austria vs North Macedonia
The Austrian right-back might be one of the surprising players in terms of scoring a goal when the defender produced an exquisite finish from the tightest of angles to set his side to win against North Macedonia.
