Prior to her entrance into the film, she came off in the Kannada TV soap opera Arasi, which was released on Zee Kannada from January 2007 to September 2009.


She has obtained numerous Accolades comprising a Filmfare award and three SIIMA Awards.

Rachita made her picture acting debut in the 2013 Kannada-language movie Bulbul as the lead opposite Darshan. She later came up in Dil Rangeela (2014) and Ambareesha (2014).

She is a skilled classical Bharata Natyam dancer who has bestowed more than 50 accomplishments. Her father Ram, also a Bharata Natyam dancer, has delivered nearly 500 social performances. She has a sister, Nithya Ram, who is also a film and television actress.

In 2012, Rachita auditioned for a central character in Bulbul with 200 other women before she was appointed. Before that, she had acted on the Kannada television serial Benkiyalli Aralida Hoovu along with her sister Nithya Ram. She was performing as an actress where Darshan performed as an actor in the movie that went on to become a victory on financial grounds. On her execution, G. S. Kumar of The Times of India penned, “Rachita Ram has presented an excellent performance in her first movie” and further extended her statement by saying, “Rachita Ram is amazing with her dialogue delivery, body language, and excellent expressions.” In 2014, The release of her first film 2014 was Dil Rangeela, in which she has shared the screen with Ganesh. In one of the reviews written on Rachita, B. S. Srivani of Deccan Herald wrote that Rachita “delivers a seasoned performance” in the film. Ambaressha was the second release in the same year and she for the second time shared the screen with Darshan. The movie and her craft received unfavorable reviews from analysts. In Ranna, she performed the character of Rukmini, the sweetheart of Sudeep, arising in a tiny yet key role. In Rathavara, she occurred with Sriimurali, who influences a gangster and crucial assistant of an MLA. The Times of India’s writer Sunayana Suresh in one of her articles composed, “Rachita Ram looks pretty and has acted every bit the cutesy girl-next-door that is required of her.”

Rachita was featured in the 2016 Kannada movie Chakravyuha with Puneeth Rajkumar. She made a cameo impression in Jaggu Dada with Darshan. She also showcased her talent in a song with Sudeep In Mukunda Murari.

Rachita’s initial release of 2017 was Pushpaka Vimana opposite Ramesh Aravind, where she performed the role of his daughter. Her following release was Chethan Kumar’s Bharjari with Dhruva Sarja; After Ranna, It was her second film with actress Haripriya.

In 2018, She worked with Duniya Vijay in her first release directed by Preetham Gubbi. Johnny Johnny Yes Papa was the name of that film. Hereafter she got great films and she added her charm. She also experienced the process of Ayogya directed by Mahesh Kumar with Sathish Ninasam. It arose as the largest blockbuster of the year and she also achieved Best Actress-2018 at SIIMA awards.
