After evaluating the picture, Saibal Chatterjee of NDTV asserted that Khanna “makes an impact in a brief but significant appearance”. Madras Cafe was a box-office blockbuster as it earned more than ₹100 crore.

Raashi Khanna has influenced her enthusiasts once again by playing the World Famous Lover. Everyone is loving the bonding of Vijay Deverakonda in the film with a grandeur cast. The actress who rendered her acting debut with Madras Cafe where she performed John Abraham’s wife was a learner at Delhi University’s Lady Shree Ram College For Women and was invariably a ranker in her class. The actress had disseminated how she landed up auditioning for the movie, Madras Cafe. She said, “When I heard about the auditions for the film, I didn’t even want to attend it. But my manager kept pushing me and I was wondering why on earth they would cast me. Eventually, I attended the audition and things fell in place. And yes, I didn’t want to become an actress. But when I saw myself on screen for the first time, and seeing how moved the audience was with my performance, that was the moment I told myself that I will do this for the rest of my life.”

The actress topped in 12th standard board examination and constantly wanted to do something associated to the advertising business. She wished to evolve as a copywriter for Ad movies after finishing her graduation.
