Bollywood actress Vidya Balan‘s debut production short film is in race for Best Short film (Live Action) category in Oscars 2021. The actor has not just starred in the film but its also her debut production.The plot of the film is a story of a mother teaching her son about gender equality and toxic misogyny.
The entire production team is extremely joyful regarding their nomination in the Oscar’s.The producers took to Twitter to express how elated they are that “Natkhat” is in the running for Best Short Film at the Oscars.

Natkhat ” had earlier won the top prize at the third edition of ShortsTV’s Best Of India Short Film Festival 2020 as well. The film is getting immense national as well as international response.The film had earlier premiered on You tube as a part of “We are one: A Global film festival ” on June 2.
