The episode begins with Abhira receiving a balloon with Yuvraj’s message. She looks around and notices Armaan. Everyone takes care of Vidya. Manoj says we’ll contact Armaan if you don’t eat. Vidya says no, don’t tell him; he was with me all the time; I sent him to rest; don’t bother him; only a few get a son like Armaan; there is no one like him. When he was young and came to this house, he didn’t know anyone; he became a part of this house; and me, I had no idea when I had become his mother; he calls me the best mother; I’m the mother of the best son. Ruhi thinks about him.
Kiara claims he’s the finest. Ruhi believes he will love me. Abhira thinks about telling Armaan. She holds him. He holds her and adds, “I’m scared.” She asks why. He says I couldn’t see my mother’s face, and I can’t lose Vidya. Abhira interprets this as implying that Vidya is not Armaan’s biological mother. He claims I was little when my father took me to this place, and I only knew my father; no one else wanted to welcome me. Abhira cries.
Armaan sobs and says, “I remember my first night in this house; it was raining heavily, I was scared, and my mother wasn’t with me.” Vidya approached me, held me, and sang a lullaby for me. One needs a big heart to hug a stepson. Vidya has a big heart. I didn’t feel scared then, but I’m scared of losing her. I protected her today. You made her face her fear. You made a favour on me. If anything happened to her today, then I would have died. You have saved my life. It’s a big favor. Thank you so much. He cries.
Tere bina plays… Ruhi looks on and approaches them. Abhira says I need to talk to him. Ruhi claims Vidya’s medications are not there; just come and look. Armaan goes. He claims the pills have arrived. Ruhi claims it wasn’t here. Abhira says, “Think; you didn’t see.” Ruhi questions why I would lie to him. Manisha receives Vidya. She begs Ruhi to accompany her. Abhira wonders if Ruhi was telling the truth; why would anyone take mom’s medicines? She examines the medications and stops Vidya. She says, “Armaan, the medicines have expired.” He says I didn’t check, so be with Vidya, and I’ll switch the pills. Abhira wonders if Yuvraj did this. Armaan advises checking the medicine’s expiration date this time. Abhira receives Yuvraj’s call.
He says we would buy clothes of your choice; did you feed Vidya expired medications? I knew it; you are smart; you will find it; I was able to modify the medications; you have no control. Abhira says, “Listen to me.” He continues, “Listen to me; you want one more mother to die because of you; you can’t be saved there; challenge accepted; tell everyone about me; and see what I’ll do; or come to the airport; we’ll go to Dubai and marry.” She becomes afraid. Armaan asks Abhira to say something. Abhira becomes afraid. She says nothing; I have to make DD to pay college costs. He says, “Stop it.” Abhira, I will not believe this; I know you well, and you will get caught when you lie. You have to tell me the truth. She lies instead, and then they both argue.
Dadi calls him out. Abhira asks him to go. He says he’s there if you want to tell me about the masked man, and he won’t keep it a secret. He goes. Abhira weeps and thinks of Armaan. She says, “I’m not sure what this relationship is called; it was respect, friendship, and fights, and I’ll miss it a lot.” She receives Yuvraj’s call. She says I’ve decided; my response is yes, I’m ready to marry you. He dances and smiles. He claims we’ll be married in Dubai. She adds, I have a condition, and you will never see Armaan and his family. He says I forgot about him and will do what you say. She explains, “I just want their safety.” He tells her to come to the airport tomorrow.
Abhira serves the dinner to Armaan. She recalls family moments. She wonders how I will end these relationships and leave. I said yes to Yuvraj; they will be concerned if I disappear unexpectedly; Armaan will come to locate me; and I will not let him get into trouble. She places the dal over her hand. Armaan and Ruhi are worried. He says your hand was burned. Dadi scolds Abhira. She asks her to be careful. Abhira says, “I am sorry.” She goes.
