Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is one of the wholesome television shows. It has ruled over the audience’s hearts for decades and continues to spread laughter and joy. Lately, the show has been in a lot of controversy. The serial’s prominent actress Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal aka Mrs Roshan Sodhi accused the show’s producer Asit Modi of sexual harassment charges. She even won the case and the producer had to compensate her by paying some amount.
This verdict hasn’t been satisfactory on Jennifer’s end as she wanted some stringent punishment. Recently, it has been known that the show’s other actress Palak Sidhwani will also be quitting the show. She shared this update on her Instagram account and stated that she was shooting for the last episode of TMKOC.
Palak’s sudden move shocked her fans and the news wasn’t received well. But, it seems like it was just a mere trick. Palak celebrated her birthday on the 11th of April. By mentioning the last day of the shoot, she meant the last episode before she turns 26. The actress will continue to work in the show and it was not her last episode.
As she was entering a new year in her life, she wanted to make it remarkable and memorable. The actress is very much a part of the show. She has replaced Nidhi Bhanushali, who used to play sonu before her. For many years now, TMKOC fans have been eagerly waiting for Daya Ben’s arrival.
