Shark Tank India season 2 is currently receiving a lot of attention. The show has kept the viewers interested whether it was by rejecting the pitch that competed with Vineeta Singh’s Sugar Cosmetics or the emotional presentation from the Flatheads. Namita Thapar, the executive director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals and a Shark Tank judge, recently tweeted that her housekeeper had stolen her phone and posted hateful comments.
Following this, Namita Thapar posted an apology to the public on Twitter for the “offensive” post. According to Thapar, the housekeeper was the writer of the post.
“This is what hate does to this world, makes people toxic. An educated house help who was removed stole my phone & put a hateful post on me on social media. Price of being a public figure! Apologies!” she wrote on Twitter.

Recently, Thapar’s Instagram bio was changed to “Shitty mother, shittier wife”. Besides, a post was shared saying, “This is Namita’s son. I just want the world to know that the person you see on TV is not who you think she is. Unfollow her as soon as possible. Will explain why in the due course of time”.

However, netizens criticized Namita for the post because they did not accept her explanation of the situation. One person wrote, “That educated housekeeper knows the passcode to your phone. Lmao good try, better luck next time.” Another user said, “Since making stories is not your expertise, you should have been out and let your social media manager come up with a better excuse,” added another user A third user said, “It would have been more believable if you’d mentioned your account was hacked.”
