In one of the promos of tonight’s episode of Shark Tank India, shared by Sony Tv and Shark Tank India on almost all of their social media platforms, we see sharks indulging with various pitchers, pitching their businesses, products and innovation in an attempt to seek funding from the Sharks on season 02 — Peyush Bansal, owner of Lenskart, Vineeta Singh, owner of Sugar Cosmetics, Anupam Mittal, owner of Shadi.com, Makaan.com and Mauj, Namita Thappar, executive board of directors, Emcure and Aman Gupta, Boat.
In the promo we see a group of 2 pitchers riding their bicycle around the Sharks. upon being asked why did they choose to start a business of such unique two and three wheelers that run on electricity, they replied, “humare paas ek specially abled aadmi aata hai, bolta hai main 36 years mein na sunrise nahin dekha, vo tricycle dekhre h na aap red colour ki, toh vo usko transfer karke de diya. Hum sabh happy they challenge ho gya. Ek mahine ke baad vo vapas call karke bolta hai bhai sun teri cycle ki vajah se main aaj har subeh, milk packets and newspaper daalra hu aur 300 rupay din ka kama ra hu.” Sharks seem to be impressed by his story.
There’s another man-woman pitcher who after bursting a bomb in front of sharks say, “aap dariye matt, yeh dhamaka apki safety ke liye tha.” They pitch their auto-fire extinguisher ball with a shelf life of 5 years with zero maintenance cost and it’s a portable device. “Humara mission hai, choti aag ko badhi durghatna hone se rok sakein,” says the woman partner. Vineeta Singh replies, “awesome.” and Anupam says, “bahut acha kaam kar rahe ho yaar.”
