The popular reality show Bigg Boss 14, which has already been in news for its new theme this season, is now reported to be postponed for a month. In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, Salman Khan in a teaser mentioned what changes will be made in the upcoming season. There have been reports of Jasmin Bhasin, Pavitra Punia, Eijah Khan, Naina Singh to be finalised for the show. The contestants were also supposed to be kept in quarantine of at least a week or more from August end as the show was supposed to start from 5th September, but there has been a major change in the schedule.
According to Pinkvilla, sources revealed, “The channel and makers are forced to push the show by a month as the repair work of the set was affected due to heavy rains lashing Mumbai in the past week. The rains have delayed the repair work and the set is not yet ready for the contestants. Hence, keeping all the precautions and everything in mind, the reality show is now being postponed to October.” It was also revealed that the makers of the show are planning to premier the show on 4th October 2020, but this date has not been finalised yet.
Meanwhile, the last season of the show received so much love that the makers decided to extend it for two more months, seeing its success. Siddharth Shukla was the winner for the show with Asim Riaz as the runner up. Salman Khan will be seen hosting Bigg Boss for the 11th time now.
