According to recent sources, the makers have paid Manisha Rani a large sum of money to ensure her participation.
According to Filmibeat, the producers of Rohit Shetty’s Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 are aware of Manisha Rani’s surge in popularity following her appearance on Bigg Boss OTT 2. Despite being a wildcard candidate in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11, she received a large number of fan votes and was voted the champion of the dancing reality programme.
In fact, the dance reality show’s TRPs increased following her appearance. Following in the footsteps of their competitor channel, the Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 team has sought Manisha again for their show. Manisha was one of the first few celebs approached about Khatron Ke Khiladi 14.
However, the channel and Manisha did not agree for unknown reasons. Now that the broadcaster has confirmed almost all of the competitors for the show, they have resumed talks with Manisha Rani and have even boosted her pay.
She would be demanding between 8 and 10 lakhs every episode. If the reports are correct, Manisha will become Khatron Ke Khiladi 14’s highest-paid competitor. It would be fascinating to see if Manisha is brought on board only for entertainment purposes, with her tenure lasting as long as she performs, or if she is treated equally with the other participants on the show.
