As the shootings of the daily soaps have been resumed, TV actor Karan Patel is all ready to step into the shoes of Karan Singh Grover as Mr. Bajaj in Kasautii Zindagii Kay. His earlier work was with Ekta Kapoor in the serial Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. His final look and his on-set entry’s photos has been released. Image of Karan dressed in black trousers, black shirt and a maroon blazer matched with striped pocket square are being circulated all over the social media.
According to Mumbai Mirror, Karan mentioned that the writers of the daily soaps are planning for some amazing twist and turns in the script. He said that he is trying his best to give some uniqueness and originality to the iconic character of Mr. Bajaj, which has marked its place in the minds of the viewers for so many years. Patel also mentioned that it is really a matter of honor for him to take the character of Mr. Bajaj ahead from where Ronit Roy and Karan Singh Grover had left.
In a recent interview, he told that he was not afraid of any kind of comparisons, as that’s bound to happen. He has his own approach towards the understanding of character and playing with it. He also told that he always follows his instinct and as an artiste, he is pretty much spontaneous and that’s his forte.
The role of Mr. Bajaj was originally played by Ronit Roy and later by Karan Singh Grover in the previous parts of the TV show. Patel had also played a small role in the reboot where he played a friend of Mr Bajaj’s son.
