Sad news for Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah fans, Dayaben aka Disha Vakani has permanently quit the show. The fans of the show have been desperately waiting for Dayaben to make a comeback. Dayaben aka Disha Vakani who took a maternity break from the show in 2017, there have been multiple signs of her returning on the show.
Even, recently, the makers hinted at Disha Vakani’s return when they sent a handwritten note by Dayaben via Sunderlal to Jethalal (Dilip Joshi). However, a source close to the show reveals, “After the maternity break, there definitely had been talks regarding the perfect plot to return. Producers had been in touch with Disha and there were some on-going negotiations that were being worked upon. But unfortunately, things did not materialize and Disha decided to quit.”
The source added, “It has been long known to the director and producers that Disha Vakani is not returning to Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. The reason behind them not announcing it officially remains a confusion even to many of us.”
Dayaben has always managed to bring a smile to our faces. Her famous dialogues ‘Hey maa mataji’ or ‘Tapu ke papa’, to date nobody has managed to do so. It seems like Dayaben has truly left the show.
