Salman Khan has returned to his hosting duties with 18th season of Bigg Boss. While the buzz around the latest season is loud, this one particular contestant has been gaining a lot of attention for being a medical doctor and having a Ph.D.
Gunaratna Sadavarte is a lawyer from Maharashtra, who challenged the state’s reservation for the Maratha community, which had been announced under Article 371 (D), in the Supreme Court to argue in favour of unconstitutional principles.
He hails from Nanded and studied in Aurangabad and Mumbai and he was active in various movements there. To help students with their problems, he started “Samyak Vidyarthi Andolan.” He had moved to Mumbai a few years ago to practice law.
He was a medical doctor before becoming a lawyer and has done a Ph.D. in the Constitution of India. He was twice president of the Bar Association of ‘Mat’ and is on the Bar Council Summit.
Nivritti Sadavarte was the father of Sadavarte, who worked in the police department and won the Municipal Corporation of Nanded from the Bahujan Federation of the Republican Party of India.
He is married to Advocate Dr. Jayshree Patil and they have a daughter Zane, and it is inspired by the Buddhist [kind of] ‘Zen.’
