Bigg Boss 17: Munawar Faruqui reveals he wasn’t told about his ex-wife’s second marriage; says, “I came to know when she went to another city completely”

Munawar opened up about his early struggles and provided a glimpse into his past, including details about his ex-wife.

In the latest episode of Bigg Boss 17, the ongoing conflict between Vicky Jain and Abhishek Kumar continued. The episode began with the aftermath of their heated argument, where Abhishek expressed his displeasure with Vicky for allegedly calling him a ‘criminal.’ This led to Abhishek resorting to age-shaming Vicky as the tension between them escalated.

Despite attempts by the housemates to mediate and communicate with both Vicky and Abhishek, the tension persisted, with Abhishek seemingly struggling to comprehend Munawar’s attempts to explain. The prolonged confrontation continued, creating a strained atmosphere in the house.

During lunch, Rinku was visibly affected by the ongoing conflicts and broke down in tears. Aoora provided comfort and support, becoming someone Rinku confided in amid the emotional turmoil within the house.

After the intense fight, Munawar found solace in sharing aspects of his life with Aishwarya, Mannara, and Arun. He opened up about his early struggles and provided a glimpse into his past, including details about his ex-wife. Munawar emotionally discussed the loss of his mother, revealing, “I was almost 14 years old. When my mom passed away, 10 days later that was my birthday. She passed away on 18th January. My aunt said there was no point in staying there, and they got Daddy and me to Mumbai. As soon as I came here, I got a job in a utensils shop in Bhendi Bazaar. I used to earn Rs 60 per day, and I was happy.”

In this candid conversation, Aishwarya inquired further, asking Munawar about his marriage. Munawar shared, “Gharwalon ne hi karayi thi.” Aishwarya pressed on, asking, “Then why didn’t it work?” Munawar responded with a concise, “I don’t want to talk about her. It just didn’t work out.”

Aishwarya delved deeper, asking about Munawar’s son, “You had a son within a year of marriage, now he stays with you?” Munawar affirmed, “Yes, within a year, he stays with me only now.” Aishwarya then inquired, “Is she settled down now or not?”

Munawar continued to share the emotional aspects of his life, revealing, “She got married, I didn’t even know about it. When I called Mikhail home after 10-15 days, I got to know that she got married. I called Mikhail’s nana to ask whether it was true. I understood that Mikhail was here with me, and she got married and left. I came to know that she went to another city completely.”

Aishwarya expressed her concern, saying, “Didn’t she feel that her son is not with her?” Munawar responded, “They weren’t attached.”

In response to Mannara’s inquiry about the apparent distance between a mother and child, Munawar and Arun emphasized, “You cannot judge someone; she must have mustered a lot of courage to take that decision to move ahead. All I can say is that Mikhail was also not attached.” Aishwarya added a reflective note, saying, “People realize much later in their life what they did.”

Munawar shared his perspective, stating, “Gussa, barbaad karta hai, aur woh ghar gussey ke wajeh se barbaad hogaya” (Anger ruins and, because of anger, the home got ruined). Mannara sought clarification, asking, “You and your ex-wife got separated because of anger, misunderstandings, miscommunication?” Munawar chose to conclude the conversation, stating, “I don’t want to say anything in detail.”
