A few episodes ago, in Bigg Boss’s current running season 16, Tina Datta was seen telling Abdu Rozik in front of Nimrit Ahluwalia and MC Stan that she won’t appreciate any jokes linking her with Shalin Bhanot. This was vouched for by Nimrit and MC both. This came after Tina Datta had an apparent split up with her love interest inside the house, Shalin. They fought over Sumbul Touqeer Khan wearing Shalin’s jacket and later on because Shalin took away Tina’s footage of clarifying quarrels with Sumbul after the 18-year-old Imlie actress Sumbul denied Tina of delivery of her food in the ration-distributing task. The fight did not stop there. In the nominations-for-sixth-week task, Shalin seemed to have given a rose to Gautam Singh Vig and later he was also seen supporting Soundarya Sharma’s group of Gautam, Archana Gautam and now Gori Nagori to be better than their own group. This angered and triggered Tina’s ego to spiral up as she felt Shalin compared her with Soundarya. After this, Tina was also seen abusing Shalin while talking to the camera and indicating that her reputation is at stake if she’s linked to any guy either inside or outside the Bigg Boss house.

Shalin in yesterday’s episode was seen evidently upset with Tina even after she served him a plate full of food. They had an ugly confrontation after this, where Shalin even accused Tina of being too self righteous and ruining and making fun of whatever relation they had between the two of them.

Later, Shalin was seen sitting in Abdu’s captain room and telling a few other housemates that they both are not in a relationship anymore.

Bigg Bigg viewers are in fact proven right about the fake love equation the two had been portraying ever since week two of the show. This fake love backfired on both of them.
