Tina Datta, as we all know, is a big name in the Indian TV industry. She is not just big, but old too. First seen in 2009 in her first TV break as a lead, ‘Uttaran,’ Tina has had her presence on every Indian living room for years up until now, when she’s seen not as a ‘bahu’ but apparently in her real and true self, in Bigg Boss. But are people really enjoying the Tina Datta, who was always rumoured to be coming to Bigg Boss in every season these past years? Well, the answer could be put up for debate, considering the internet being divided over the way she’s playing her game and portraying herself inside the Bigg Boss 16’s house. But we could contribute our two cents on how Tina Datta’s looking in the outside world.
Well, we think Tina Datta is coming across as a hypocrite and a fake person. Her love angle with Shalin Bhanot, comes across extremely fake. And the way she goes on passing remarking on other girls’ characters, while trying every possible rule in the book to protect her’s from being tainted, Tina Datta’s looking like the biggest hypocrite.
In a recent episode of Bigg Boss 16, while gathered near the pool area, she was seen gossiping with her so called friend about how Priyanka Chahar Choudhary and Ankit Gupta, who claim to be in no romantic relationship with each other, are seen sitting with legs on each other’s chest. In another incident, when Sumbul Touqeer narrated the Gautam Vig-Soundarya Sharma bathroom fiasco clip shown during nominations, Tina Datta was the one to ask if they were having sex and later even out and out rejected Shalin’s suggestion to go and console Soundarya being a girl.
But, when Archana Gautam said Tina Datta kissed Shalin Bhanot, she was too hurt that her character has been questioned. She even demanded Bigg Boss to clean her image for her, since she’s been the face of Bigg Boss. This arrogance of Tina and selective protection of girls’ dignity is what we feel could be an easy turn off for the audience.
