The relationship between Rashami Desai and Umar Riaz has strained. Rakhi was first seen along with Umar, discussing his relationship with Rashami wherein he asked Rakhi if he likes Rashami. Umar then shares to Rakhi that he likes her but he simply cannot say I love you to her in a matter of few days. Rakhi impressed with Umar praises him for not doing it for the sake of screen time.
Rashami later asks Umar if Tejasswi Prakash asked him about them dating and what his response was. Umar says they’ll wait and see what happens outside. Rashami remarks, “But I didn’t like it since I understand what’s going on in her head.” Umar assures her that Teja has always backed him up in his endeavours. However, Rashami goes on to say that she has also supported Tejasswi, Karan and him.
” I haven’t seen you supporting,” Umar says. Rashami and Umar dispute over not being supportive during the tasks, and things quickly escalate. “You trust Rakhi, you trust Abhijeet, I’m starting to see where this is going. Your calculations make sense to me. You go ahead and make your choices screen-time.” argues Rashami.
Rashami later interrogates Tejasswi about whether she questioned Umar about dating her outside. “Main aapka aur Karan ka nahi puchhti, aap mera aur Umar ka bhi mat pucho,” Rashami yells when Tejasswi explains it was just a harmless question for Umar.
