‘Raksha’- this is what fans of Raqesh Bapat and Shamita Shetty, loving tag them together. The love that sparked in the OTT version of Bigg Boss, is now given a chance to bloom in the current season of the show. With Raqesh making a wild card entry, the reunion of the couple is a delight to watch. However, how did this all start? Shamita explains the how and why!
In an Extra Masala clip, aired on Voot, Shamita, Raqesh, Jay Bhanushali and Rajiv Adatia are seen in the kitchen area. The video starts with Shamita saying, “One entire hafta (in the OTT house) I was so angry with this one and mein apne ko bolti rehti thi ki ye game iske liye nai bani hai. I was so upset ki isko kyu samajh nai aa raha hai kuch.” To which Jay says, “Ha there was also a point jaha you said ki ab mujhe Raqesh nai chaiye.”
Shamita adds, “Ha kyuki isko lekar mein bohot protective hu. Seriously. And uss time the game was very bad, what was happening. I was upset.” Seeing her mood drop, Raqesh tries to cheer her up saying, “Beeti baaton ko bhul jao, now it’s new beginnings.” Shamita cutely curls up into a hug, while Jay adds, “Yaar ab na mujhe haar jagah woh awkward wali feeling ane wali hai. Woh khekada lovers hote hai na jo khopche mein ja ja kar ishq ladate hai bas woh hi ho tum log.”
