BB 14 will premiere from tonight on television. All the ardent viewers of the voyeuristic reality show have already become impatient and they cannot wait to speculate who will be the winner of the show already!
The stories and the conjectures that happens with the inmates of the house on social media is of utmost importance to the followers of the show who don’t waste a minute’s time to conjure up a storm in favour of the contestants they support and berate those they don’t.
The media keeps a hawk’s eye on the contestants and their family members to grill them on their conduct in the show which later becomes a pretext of a social media duel amongst netizens. All in al a huge fest awaits Twitter and Instagram for the next few months.
As the expectation surges its swell in the minds of the lovers of the show, we got in touch exclusively with one of the family members of the only confirmed contestant in the BB 14 house as of now.
Well, we’re talking about Jaan Kumar Sanu. Jaan’s sister Shannon K who is currently in London spoke to us at length about her step-brother’s stint in the show.
Shannon who is also a singer and like her brother wants to make a mark as a singer in Bollywood is currently pursuing her vocation in LA and has also shot for her latest single ‘Run’ in Jaipur.
The singer is pretty confident that her brother will do good in the Bigg Boss house because he is cultured. However, the fact that the show is replete with voyeurism and people are interested in talking about the controversies in the personal lives of the contestants is not hidden; Shannon however feels, his brother surely will face what comes his way with dignity, “I will watch Big Boss first time for my brother and I know he’s strong enough to handle everything. He’s a cultured guy,” she mulls.
Jaan’s father had two marriages, Jaan is Kumar Sanu and his first wife Rita Bhattacharya’s son. Kumar Sanu divorced his wife in 1994 and got married to Saloni Sahu. Shannon and her sister Annabelle are Saloni and Kumar Sanu’s daughters. Given the fact that the siblings share this complex equation, w it will indubitably draw the attention of the people and therefore they could even talk about it in due course of time. However, Shannon feels people are not so bigoted to do anything of that sort, “I don’t think there’s anything to be scrutinized about his personal life. If his parents got separated, what’s his fault? I hope people are not that close minded anymore and shouldn’t say anything about his respected parents. I believe all parents deserve to be respected,” She concluded.
On The work front, Shannon is trying hard to get a foothold in Bollywood, meanwhile, her latest single Run has also been directed by her own sister Annabelle K.
