After being delayed by many weeks and increasing the amount of suspense and excitement in audience, the new season of Bigg Boss is set to premier with a bang, amidst the ongoing pandemic.
According to reports there will be a dance performance by the ex-contestants of the Colors’ reality show for the inauguration of the next season. Desimartini reported the shoots of the performances in the premier episodes have been done. The portal quoted a source as saying, “Various TV artists have been performing on a weekly basis and their performances are being recorded which will be telecast the day, the show premiers on television. This is being done so that things don’t go haywire due to the pandemic in the future because no one knows what the situation will be like then.”
The report further reveals the names of the individual performers, “Last week, ex Bigg Boss contestants Sidharth Shukla, Gauahar Khan, Hina Khan performed on various Bollywood songs and it was just yesterday that another group of performances happened. In it, TV actor Nishant Malkani, Malayalam actress Nikki Galrani and TV actor Eijaz Khan had performed along with a few more actors on various remixes which also included the famous Nora Fatehi dance number ‘Dilbar Dilbar’, all of them were solo performances and there were no background dancers involved to eliminate the possibility of the spread of the Coronavirus,” said the source.
In the same report it is also mentioned that the shoots were being done keeping the social distancing norms in place and that the shoots continued till the wee hours of this morning, “Very few people were on the set, around 40 of them, and the performances happened on the same stage where audiences see Salman Khan hosting the show. This is another set up just next to the set of the Bigg Boss house. The shoot for these performances began at around 10 AM on Monday [yesterday] and it continued till around 1 AM today,” the source added.
