1. The cold war between SRK and Salman Khan
This controversy is probably the most popular one, having made many headlines. The fact that SRK and Salman Khan was not on speaking terms for a long time, isn’t a secret. The rivalry started at Katrina Kaif’s birthday party. Shah Rukh Khan had made comments about Aishwarya Rai, Salman Khan’s ex and things went downhill from there. However, the two of them seemed to have resolved their issues. There have been numerous occasions where they have spoken respectfully about each other. They have also been seen hugging it out on various shows.
2. SRK being banned from the Wankhede Stadium
Yes, King Khan got banned from a public place. Even the biggest celebrities can get banned if they misbehave or use abusive language. The Kolkata Knight Riders’ co-owner seemed to have misbehaved with a security guard. The Mumbai Cricket Association banned the star for manhandling and flinging abuses at the official. The lifelong ban was later revised as a five-year ban.
3. Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ controversy
SRK and Priyanka Chopra Jonas were rumoured to be dating. Whenever questioned about the topic, SRK and Priyanka shut them down. Gauri was reportedly ready to give him a divorce. She warned SRK from working with Priyanka in movies. SRK and Priyanka haven’t been on speaking terms since.
4. When SRK was detained at American Airports
We have got to admit, this has happened one too many times.
Shah Rukh Khan was detained at the Newmark Airport in New Jersey for almost two hours. All that for his last name. He was later released when Congress MP Rajiv Shukla talked to the respective authorities.
He has also been detained at the New York Airport. The star arrived on a private plane with Nita Ambani to meet students at Yale University. Nita and the others got through without any problem. However, SRK was held back for yet another two hours.
SRK even joked about this once at the Yale University speech: “Whenever I start feeling too arrogant, I always take a trip to America. The immigration guys kick the star out of stardom.”
5. Shah Rukh Khan’s ugly fight with Farah Khan’s Husband
The ugly brawl took place during Sanjay Dutt’s success party for Agneepath. SRK reportedly got into a terrible brawl with Shirish Kunder. SRK was being provoked by Shirish and he acted out. SRK reportedly pinned him down and slapped him. SRK and Shirish ended their friendship. However, SRK seemed to be on good terms with Farah Khan.
