The ‘Wolves’ singer shared a video of Benny playing with kids and wrote in the caption below, “I’m off social media for a while. I’m focusing on what really matters.” For the unversed, at the Golden Globes, a video showed the ‘Wolves’ singer and Taylor Swift gossiping during an ad break. She asked for a selfie with actor Timothee Chalamet when his girlfriend Kylie Jenner told her no.
Selena stole the spotlight at the 2024 Golden Globes, not just with acting prowess, but also with an unexpected twist due to the wind. Nominated for the best performance by a female actor in a television series, comedy, or musical for her role as Mabel Mora in Only Murders in the Building, Selena graced the red carpet in a red Giorgio Armani dress.
This is not the first time that the singer has taken a brief break from social media. In November, she had written on her Instagram stories, “I am taking a break and deleting my Instagram. I’m done. I do not support any of what’s going on.” Selena had received backlash on social media for her comments on the Israel-Palestine conflict, where she said that, “Having a sister everyday has made me tragically sick…I would do anything for children and innocent lives.”
