Set against the backdrop of a spectacular 2023 – a year when Indian films made a roaring comeback with record-breaking blockbusters and it felt almost as if a chant of ‘CINEMA ZINDABAD’ was echoing within the walls of the theaters—the awards ceremony promises to be an evening of recognition for some of the film industry’s finest work.
This March, Mumbai will once again host Bollywood’s crème de la crème, including actors, directors, producers, and film technicians, for this highly anticipated star-studded spectacle.
At a chic and glamorous event, Bollywood superstar Alia Bhatt, along with Mr. Shashank Srivastava, Sr. Executive Officer, Marketing and Sales, Maruti Suzuki India and Ashish Sehgal, Chief Growth Officer – Advertisement Revenue, ZEEL, unveiled the sleek trophy for the ‘Maruti Suzuki Arena Presents 22nd Zee Cine Awards 2024’. At the press conference, actors Bobby Deol, Aparshakti Khurana, and Mouni Roy shared experiences and memorable events from prior editions of the prestigious awards show.
The kick-off event announced an intriguing lineup of performances by some of the most well-known names in the film industry, including Alia Bhatt, Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Ananya Panday, Bobby Deol, Ayushmann Khurrana, Mouni Roy, Utkarsh Sharma, Simrat Kaur, and others. The attractive Ayushmann Khurrana and Aparshakti Khurana will anchor the event, with the hilarious Sunil Grover taking over for a few entertaining bits.
Excitement rose when the huge surprise of the kick-off meeting was revealed: the Baadshah of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan, is returning to perform at the Zee Cine Awards after nine years!
