There are several rumours that Amazon Prime Video paid an astounding Rs. 200 crore to gain the digital rights to all southern languages (Telugu, Tamil, etc.) for the pan-Indian initiative. This enormous contract is a reflection of the tremendous excitement surrounding the movie.

The digital rights to the Hindi version of “Kalki 2898 AD” are rumoured to have been purchased by another major OTT behemoth for an unbelievable Rs. 175 crore.

Whether it is Jio Cinema or Netflix, though, has not been officially confirmed. This historic agreement highlights the movie’s popularity on a global scale and ensures that audiences will have an exciting time.

A whopping Rs. 600 crore is reportedly being spent on the film’s production. As a result, it is the priciest Indian movie ever produced.
