Tanjiro Kamado, as a newly minted demon slayer, has a lot more slaughtering to do, and the same is true for the programme.
After three seasons, the anime based on Koyoharu Gotouge’s manga has quickly established itself as one of the all-time greats, and the narrative is far from over.
Season four of Demon Slayer has yet to be confirmed, but you don’t have to be an upper level demon to know that more slayage is on the way. Even if reports about new episodes hadn’t already started spreading, the show’s massive success almost guarantees a fourth chapter is on the way.
So far, there has been about a two-year hiatus between each shorter season, implying that new episodes will most likely appear in early 2025. If suspicions of an early manufacturing start are to be accepted, that schedule may accelerate quicker than a Mugen Train. All of the normal Japanese and English voice performers will return for Demon Slayer season four, barring any setbacks.
Demon Slayer, unlike many anime adaptations, does not have to catch up with the source material because Koyoharu Gotouge’s manga ends in 2020. That means spoilers are available for anyone interested in looking ahead, presuming future seasons follow the book.
Without giving anything away, it appears like season four will adapt the Hashira Training arc, which takes place in chapters 128-136 of the original manga series.
