Good news for all the comedy lovers as your beloved duo Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover will be coming together for their upcoming project. An official announcement was made in a clip featuring the comedians along with Krushna Abhishek, Archana Puran Singh, Kiku Sharda and Rajiv Thakur in the frame.

The video starts with Kapil introducing himself and is instantly joined by Sunil Grover. Kapil says he is coming on Netflix, to which Grover replies by adding that he is coming on Netflix. Sharma shares that they will be going to 190 countries. But Grover says that they should skip Australia, referring to the fight that happened there between the two. Sunil then playfully teases by saying, “By air nahi, by road jayenge.”

For those who are unaware, Sunil Grover played the well-known character of Gutthi and Dr Mashoor Gulati on Kapil Sharma’s show. However, it came as a shock to his fans when he left the show in 2018 because of a bitter argument with Kapil. This happened when they were flying back to Mumbai after their show in Australia.

Netflix posted the clip and captioned it, “Dil thaam ke baithiye, jis ghadi ka intezar tha, vo aagayi hai! @kapilsharma and @whosunilgover BACK TOGETHER, coming soon, only on Netflix!”

Fans couldn’t hold onto their excitement after getting this information. They started flooding the comment section with heartwarming messages. A fan wrote, “Divided by ✈, United by Netflix.” While another stated, “Bas yahi doctor ilaj kar sakta hai hum sabka after the Australia defeat.” A netizen commented, “Grover will add the missing flavour.”

Kapil Sharma had opened up about his fight with Sunil. He stated that he never fought with Sunil and on the contrary liked working with good people in the industry. He met Sunil on the sets of Hass Baliye. After that, he had asked the makers of Comedy Circus to summon him on the show.

No further details have been revealed about Netflix’s upcoming comedy show. But looking at the top-notch comedians, seems like the audience are in for a treat.
