Varun Dhawan-Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s web series ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’ shares major details – Check it out

Citadel: Honey Bunny is the title for the web series, which is an Indian spin-off of the Priyanka Chopra series.

A new trailer for Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Varun Dhawan’s upcoming show, Citadel: Honey Bunny, has been released. The show’s title was revealed by the creators on social media and during an important celebration in Mumbai.

The information about the show was disclosed at Prime Video Presents, the slate announcement event hosted by director Karan Johar. On Instagram, the lead actors announced, “Prime Video has confirmed that the Indian series within the Citadel universe will be called Citadel: Honey Bunny.”

They said, “Citadel: Honey Bunny has a riveting narrative that fuses the pulse-pounding elements of a gritty spy action thriller with the heartwarming allure of a love story, all set against the vibrant tapestry of the 1990s.” Honey Bunny is the Indian serial in the Citadel world.

 

Set against a vibrant 1990s tapestry, “Citadel: Honey Bunny” will blend the heart-stopping elements of a violent spy action thriller with the endearing charm of a love tale.

During a Prime Video event, the creators of the eagerly anticipated series disclosed the title. Samantha greeted Karan Johar, the event moderator, in an unusual way. She greeted him and tried to touch his feet, which astonished the filmmaker.

‘Citadel’, an Indian Original series written by Sita R Menon, Raj, and DK, marks Varun’s debut on streaming. Additionally serving as executive producers will be Raj and DK under the banner D2R Films. Producers D2R Films and Amazon Studios are behind the series, with production overseen by AGBO’s Anthony Russo, Joe Russo, Mike Larocca, Angela Russo-Otstot, Scott Nemes, and David Weil for the Indian Original and all other series in the global ‘Citadel’ universe.

In the series, Simran, Sikander Kher, Saquib Saleem, Shivankit Singh, and Kay Kay Menon will all have important roles. The date of release is still pending confirmation.
