The Umbrella Academy is returning, and their upcoming great endeavour will be their third effort at saving the Earth. The dysfunctional superhero family that everyone loves to despise has returned, but this time they are going up against a brand-new team of heroes called The Sparrow Academy.
The Wednesday release date has not altered how the streaming service distributes all its episodes at once, in spite of customers’ concerns that they won’t be able to binge-watch the Netflix series.
According to the show’s creator and showrunner Steve Blackman, “They’ve returned to the academy, but regrettably there’s another family who claims to be living there, The Sparrows,” concerning what would happen in the upcoming episodes.

The Umbrella Academy Season Storyline
The Sparrow Academy, the history of its members, and how they relate to our heroes will take centre stage in Season 3 of The Umbrella Academy. Despite being shown in the comics, little is known about the Sparrows in the original material. This is helpful because the show has consistently kept a respectable distance from comics. The major protagonists will undoubtedly try to go across time. An Easter egg from Season 2 referred to a machine named the Televator that allowed interdimensional travel. The Hargreeves children might try to use this technology to go back in time and into space.
In Season 2, Reginald Hargreeves’ extraterrestrial status was also revealed. The storyline for Season 3 might include this. The Season 2 finale also made it known that Harlan Cooper (Justin Paul Kelly) had kept some of Vanya’s skills. This might also be further investigated in the following season.
The final episode of Season 3, “Oblivion,” makes a reference to Hotel Oblivion. The hotel/prison with this name was created by Reginald Hargreeves to house the criminals the Academy in the comic books defeated. The Umbrella Academy might get up there and must plan a spectacular jailbreak.
The Umbrella Academy Season 4 Cast
For the third season of the show, Elliot Page, Tom Hopper, David Casteda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, Justin H. Min, and Aidan Gallagher will all return.
Ben Hargreeves, Alison Raver-Lampman, Klaus Sheehan, Five Gallagher, Diego Castaeda, Luther, and others will all return to their respective roles (Min). All three actors—Colm Feore, Adam Godley, and Ritu Arya—will reprise their roles as Lila, Pogo the monkey, and Reginald Hargreeves, respectively.
The new cast members are Britne Oldford as Fei, Justin Cornwell as Marcus, Genesis Rodriguez as Sloane, Cazzie David as Jayme, and Jake Epstein as Alphonso.
The Umbrella Academy Season 4 Release Date
