Stardom: Aryan Khan spotted in Mumbai filming his debut web series – WATCH

Aryan Khan is set to direct the ‘Stardom’ web series as his directorial debut.

In June 2023, Aryan Khan, the eldest son of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan, started filming Stardom, a six-part web series. The young director has previously disclosed that the screenplay for the movie was finished in 2022. Aryan was recently seen filming the series on Mumbai’s streets as production moved along.

Paparazzi has shared a video of Aryan directing a scene on the Stardom set on their Instagram account. It’s also evident in the video that the Stardom crew concealed the filming from the neighbourhood’s residents by using two huge umbrellas.

The Stardom television series, which will also include cameos from Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Ranveer Singh, is based on the minute intricacies of Bollywood. According to reports, Gautami Kapoor, Lakshya Lalwani, and Mona Singh will also have important roles in the series.

Peepingmoon was informed by a source that “SRK and Ranveer will be seen in different episodes, playing roles that are small but important in taking the story forward. It’s a special part, and both are excited to shoot for it under the direction of Jr. Khan.”

With the support of his father, Shah Rukh Khan, the series got underway in June of last year. Notably, on the first day of filming, SRK visited the Stardom sets and delivered Aryan the biggest surprise by wishing his son good luck.

Aryan was recently spotted in a promo for his apparel business, D’yavol X, with his father Shah Rukh Khan and sister, actress Suhana Khan. Aryan spoke to GQ India about his experience directing the advertisement and how SRK and Suhana each stimulate creativity in different ways.

“As the creative director of the brand, I shoot the ads as well as oversee the photoshoots. I’m very involved creatively, but not as much when it comes to logistics. On the other hand, as a director, I have to look into every detail, every shot, and every angle,” he said.

Aryan, a budding filmmaker who will soon make his feature film debut, told GQ India that he likes to keep himself active when asked how he strikes a balance in his life.
