The teaser of Sonakshi Sinha’s much-anticipated web series ‘DAHAAD’ is finally out and has already captivated the hearts of all the fans and viewers around the globe.
Marking the digital debut of the 35-year-old actress and directed by Reema Kagti and Ruchika Oberoi, the upcoming web series stars Sonakshi Sinha, Darlings fame Vijay Varma, Sohum Shah, Gulshan Devaiah, Sanghmitra Hitaishi, Abhishek Bhalerao, and Vijay Kumar Dogra.
The Web series revolved around the life of Anjali Bhaati, a Sub-inspector assigned to the police of a small town, who is asked to investigate the bizarre case of several women found dead in public Bathrooms. Initially, it was assumed that it was nothing more than some suicide cases, but as the investigation kept on going, Officer Anjali released that it might be a case involving a serial killer.
Talking about the upcoming web series, The director Reema Kagti said “Dahaad has been a truly rewarding experience. This series is extremely special for all of us and has been brought to life masterfully by Sonakshi, Vijay, Gulshan and Soham.”
She continued “ The response that we received for the series at Berlinale 2023 was very promising and we are looking forward to bringing this series to our audiences across the globe.”
The web series is all set to hit the screens on May 12, 2023.
